I had the extreme honor to photograph the newborn precious angel, Adelyn, of Tina and Andrew.  This was such a special session as we were able to photograph so many special moments as her mom, Tina is a photographer and her dad, Drew, is a firefighter.  Oh boy… did we have fun.. and Adelyn was so sweet through the whole session… but I think I wore her mommy out…. who delivered her 9 pound baby just a week earlier.. NATURALLY.  I just LOVE LOVE the daddy in his fireman uniform and Tina had a vintage camera to represent her career as a professional photographer.  We even were able to use Adelyn’s  grandma’s knitted cocoon, which was very poignant, as her grandma had just passed away.  We even pre-planned  a ‘before and after’ shot from her maternity shoot.

Congratulations to Alexander and his family on his First Communion celebration!!  Alexander was such a wonderful young man during his photo session in the studio… he even came up with some of his own pose ideas.  My favorite was when he did the ‘jump shot’ at the end of the session!… All boy in the end 

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole and Peter’s Wedding several years ago…. they were one of my first clients and had an amazing wedding in Ft. Lauderdale.  I still, to this day, use their photo on the beach as my wedding logo brand image.  We couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous sunset as the cruise ships past by and the clouds all turned orange from the glow.

Now,  I was delighted to photograph their first child, Olivia.  She is such a precious angel gift and was just adorable to photograph.  I am so happy for them and it was great to see their family grow… they are fantastic parents.

I am very excited to announce that Tina and her family are proud to welcome their new daughter, Adelyn Belle Roberts, who was born April 27, 2012.  I am so honored to have the opportunity to photograph Adelyn this week at ONE WEEK old!!  Tina is a fantastic photographer/friend and we will have a fun time playing and getting creative with Adelyn in the Studio.    I can’t wait to meet her and photograph all those adorable NEWBORN poses!  We will be armed with lots of props and artistic ideas.  So, I figured I better get myself caught up here and post our fabulous maternity sessions with Tina and her family at Peace Mound Park in Weston and also a great session in the studio.  Stay tuned in a few weeks when I post the photographs of the beautiful Adelyn Belle.

Congrats again to Tina and her family on the birth of their precious baby girl.  By the way, did I mention that Tina is my hero??  She delivered Adelyn at almost 9 lbs… NATURALLY!!

My assistant and co-photographer, Eileen Stephens, and I had a fun time filming  behind the scenes of the wedding day of Yrra and Joey’s wedding.  The engagement session was at Key Biscayne with a backdrop of a spectacular sunset and the night lights of the Miami skyline.  The ceremony was at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic church.  The reception was held at the Marriott in coconut Grove.

My husband and I had the chance to fly up to North Carolina to visit my son, Brian and wife, Kerri and celebrate our grand-daughter, Paetyn’s first birthday!  What a fun time…she was in full party mode the whole day and never stopped.  The main event of the party was when she experienced her “Smash the Cake” birthday cake.. and she didn’t disappoint us.  At first she didn’t know what to make of this cute little cake, but once she started, she dove in with both hands and she loved every minute.  If you want FUN CRAZY memories of your child’s birthday, call me for a”SMASH THE CAKE” photo shoot in my studio or your home and you won’t stop laughing at the fun experience!

What a fun and unique Bar Mitzvah celebration…. at the Palm Beach Zoo!!  Ryan and family and guests had a night to remember party with jugglers and unusual animals in a lush tropical habitat.  Ryan’s rehearsal was at Bnai Aviv in Weston and he did a wonderful job.  It was a pleasure to capture all his memories and share in the fun evening.

Valentines Mini-Session in Studio, February 10 and 11, 2012

This post is all about my family and taking time out to celebrate a special wedding anniversary of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ken and Michele.  My husband’s youngest brother and wife didn’t know we were coming, so we got to surprise them along with their other brother, Doug and wife, Charki and spent a fabulous weekend together in the heart of city center Philly.  Ken and Michele’s kids threw a fabulous surprise party for all their friends to participate in the celebration.  My gift to them was an impromptu photo shoot in one of the city parks across from their high-rise apartment.  We even had time to experience all the rich history of the city with a fun horse and carriage ride.  We wish them all the best, as they have now moved from Philly to their new adventure in Arizona.  I’m glad we were able to take time out of our schedule to see them in Philly before they moved.  Next on our photography journey will have to be a visit to Arizona to  capture a different type of landscape.
